Ashvins[]

Gender: Male Male / Status: Deceased
Ashvins, is the name given to pair of twin Hindu gods, and was the name that Tōya Tsutsumi went under in order to lure in the other resaearchers associated under the Twin Abilities Research Center Case. He wrote letters to all four under that pseudonym, claiming that if they joined him they recieve a heft sum of money, and left instructions for the researchers to do to the the Kyuren twins. Such instructions, while starting off tame, would eventually have lead to them trying to hurt the Kyuren Twins to see if they felt each other's pain. This experimentation was to be done under the guise of seeing if twins could feel each other's pain. In reality, it was just part of Toya's ploy to murder the twins and with the potential to pin the blame on a mysterious 'fifth' researcher.

Detective Library Staff[]

Gender: Male Male Female Female / Status: Alive

The Detective Library Staff are minor characters first mentioned in Danganronpa Kirigiri Volume 1. These include receptionists, cleaners and other desk workers that all wear white shirts and old-fashioned black arm warmers. They are described to be like silent working machines.

The main receptionist (the only one to actually talk) is a male in his fifties with sunken cheeks, gruff and appeared to be the type to enjoy true literature. He updated both Yui and Kyoko's cards, despite his disinterest in them. Like most librarians, he gets upset when people are too loud, shushing Yui when she became over-excited at leveling up her DSC number. He took the notes that Yui wanted to give to the triple- and double-zero-class detectives before leaving in volume 1. He reappears in volume 3 to let Yui know if any updates are in for her.

History: Little is known about Dragunov given that he never makes an appearance, but can be known was that he was one of five Victims that took up a Duel Noir against Johnny (who theorizes all five might have been those who had known the targets he had assassinated in the past). He had attempted to snipe Johnny ontop of a rooftop, whilst the latter was outside his hotel. However, Johnny managed to turn the tables and kill him instead. When Johnny went on-top of the rooftop to investigate, Dragunov's body had mysteriously folded and disappeared, more than likely as a result of Mikado's interference. Johnny would later report Dragunov's death to Licorne following the defeat of M60.

However, that was a lie created by Kō himself who was the real culprit of the arson and did it all to raise his rank in the Detective Library.

Since the method was a common form of suicide, the police ruled it as such and didn't press further. Kariyasu learned the truth when he accepted the choice to get vengeance on her killer. Fukuju was murdered when Kariyasu got him blackout drunk at the university's cottage nearby the museum, planted a cigarette nearby Fukuju, and then by using a complex 'magnifying glass' trick, set the cottage on fire. It's more than likely that the voice on the intercom is akin to Norman and his family, and simply being just a recorded being played.

Joshua Lindberg[]

Gender: Male Male / Status: Deceased
Joshua
Joshua Lindberg (ジョシュア・リンドバーグ) was a minor antagonist mentioned in Danganronpa Kirigiri Volume 6. He is one of five Victims/Assassins that was set to participate in the Edenside Amusement Park Case Duel Noir in order to kill Johnny Arp and Yui Samidare.

Appearance & Personality: Joshua is an American that was implied to have to resemble Johnny somewhat. Of what is known about him, Joshua was a reasonably intelligent man that was capable of setting up his weapon to automatically fire thanks to his laptop's program. Given that he tried to attack Johnny in at the mirror maze, it can also be said he was reasonably confident in fighting skills as well. With his program having been made from stealing from other programmers (one who was heavily implied to have been Chihiro Fujisaki) its shown that Joshua has no qualms in theft of other people's work to use for his own gain.

History: Little is known about Joshua, but what can be known was that he was one of five Victims that took up a Duel Noir against Johnny (who theorizes all five might have been those who had known the targets he had assassinated in the past). Using his programmer's skills, he rigged his M4 up to an amusement park's Ferris wheel cabin and with the use of his laptop's facial recognition program, he had it set to fire at his targets if they came into range. Joshua would lie in wait in the mirror maze, where he eventually tried to attack Johnny alongside 'Throwing Knives'. However, Johnny would end up defeating both. In order to go into hiding, and upon noticing TAC50's set-up, Johnny baited the latter into firing before switching places with Joshua. Joshua would be killed by the shot and his skull destroyed to the point one wouldn't be able to recognize him. From there, Johnny exchanged clothes with Joshua before sneaking out, making everyone else think that Johnny died from TAC50's assault instead. Joshua's M4 would later be rendered out of commission by Yui and Kyoko Kirigiri setting it up so it can't hurt anyone, whilst stealing the laptop that allowed it to automatically fire. Following the Duel Noir, Joshua's body would be given a DNA test to prove that it was his body instead of Johnny's.

Sachi Mizuiyama spoke with him at a steak restaurant in order to gain information about the victim or any clues to the culprit. Katana agrees to meet with her because he usually lives off of cup ramen, thus it's a nice change of pace for him. When Sachi says if Fukuju was popular with his students, ultimately, Katana says otherwise and agrees to give information to Sachi after her display of fake crying, though admits he really only has rumors more than facts. Katana explains more about Fukuju's specialty in ancient history, not medieval studies, and states that Fukuju wouldn't have any interest in the museum. Sachi then gives him her steak, which he gratefully accepts before asking if Sachi had a boyfriend (which only gets ignored by Sachi). Katana then reveals Fukuju was apparently plagiarizing his student reports and, despite complaints, wasn't being punished for it. He then explains a rumor that he killed a researcher and disguised it as suicide. When Sachi asks if he knew the researcher, he says he knows her boyfriend and gets in contact with him to meet with Sachi at a cafe. He tries to ask about her having a boyfriend again, but she heads into the bathroom to consider more about the Duel Noir. When she gets out, Katana informs Sachi that he contacted Kariyasu Karasuba, and with that, the two part ways.

There was a phone nearby to him and a number that was made so that Gunzō would pick up, and get whoever he was with to open the bar. This, someone, was Hajiki Yaki, who burst open the door in order to stop the culprit from trying to kill Katsumi. Unfortunately, what wasn't known at the time was that a poison-coated knife was set-up above Katsumi and would fall when the rope that was connected to the door was triggered when someone would enter the building. Her full name is unknown, but in Danganronpa Kirigiri her maiden name is revealed to be Uzuchi, which means a "rabbit hammer". In the Japanese culture, there is a well-known story about a rabbit hammering mochi in the moon, and thus her maiden name could be a reference to her husband's space-related execution. Her father's name was Tōhachirō Uzuchi and he was a master of seven Japanese martial arts, who taught his granddaughter self-defense.

After Jin was kicked out of the Kirigiri family due to not wanting to become a detective, he and his wife had Kyoko. Jin's father Fuhito Kirigiri then wanted him back after finding out about his granddaughter, wanting to make Kyoko his heir. He started to train Kyoko, but her mother suddenly turned ill and had to be hospitalized. When Kyoko was only seven years old, her mother was close to dying while Fuhito and Kyoko were doing detective work abroad, but to Fuhito, being a detective was more important than a dying family member and he refused to let Kyoko see her dying mother. As a result, Kyoko's last memories of her mother were "a white face floating above a hospital bed".

According to Jin, his wife was the only thing holding his relationship with his father together and it all imploded after she died, with him leaving the family in anger after his father showed no care for his dying wife.

M60 shot the bag easily, but his gun would be jammed by the contents of the bag, leaving him unable to attack. When Yui and Kyoko Kirigiri managed to find out where he was hiding, they create a plan in order to subdue him.

Avoiding the cameras, Yui gets close to TAC50 who holds her at gunpoint. Her calls 'ugly four-eyes' and demands Kyoko because she was 'cuter' and wanted to violate her, then kill Yui, and then violate her again in front of Yui's corpse. This causes Yui to snap at him, which causes him to get angry and fire at Yui. However, this was simply a trick devised by them. They had brought a mirror and angled it to make it seem like Yui was in front of him. This allowed Kyoko to take a clear shot with her rifle and knock away his gun with one shot. Kyoko demands he gives up, and TAC50 complies. Yui finds handcuffs on his table and then handcuffs him to the pipes, essentially defeating him (while also shuddering as to what he going to use them for). Yui notices a room labelled power management room and goes to inspect, only to see in horror what was Throwing Knives body. Her ghilllie suit was in rags, specifically the chest was open, and there blood everywhere. When Yui asked what did TAC50 do to her, the man only laughs and tells her to take a guess, heavily implying he assaulted her.

From what is known from how Mikado acted as him, (and how Kyoko didn't suspect anything was off) he was very overprotective of his granddaughter and would attack any boy that got near her. However, he would have granted her leeway if it involved detective work and be much more easygoing.

History: Tōhachirō was the father of Kyoko Kirigiri's mother, and thus became affiliated with the Kirigiri Family. According to Jin Kirigiri, he was a master of seven martial arts: karate, kendo, judo, kyuudou, aikido, iai and naginata, as well as excelling in shodou. Jin even compared his intellect to be as sharp as a member of the Kirigiri Family. He was supposed to take in Kyoko when she arrived back to Japan, but was murdered by Mikado, who began impersonating him. His body was buried in his yard, and was discovered on January 11th, by Yui Samidare, who had come to investigate the oddities concerning Kyoko's grandfather. One of Mikado's maidservants, who were watching over the household just in case anyone were prowling around the premises, saw Yui and tried to kill her, but was defeated by Jin. Following both Yui and Jin's escape, the former recounts Kyoko's maternal father's body had decomposed greatly, implying that he had been dead for months.

Throwing Knives[]

Gender: Female Female/ Status: Deceased
Throwing Knives
Throwing Knives was a minor antagonist mentioned in Danganronpa Kirigiri Volume 6. She is one of five Victims/Assassins that was set to participate in the Edenside Amusement Park Case Duel Noir in order to kill Johnny Arp and Yui Samidare. Give that her name is unknown, the cast refers to her by her weapon name instead.

Appearance & Personality: Throwing Knives is a small woman who has silver hair, lightly dark skin and is thought to be of Arabic descent by Licorne. In the Duel Noir, she wears a white ghillie suit to blend in to her surroundings.

In terms of personality, little is known about Throwing Knives, but from what is known, she has shown to be confident in her knife throwing skills to opt to choose it instead of opting for a firearm like the other Victims. Given that she was the only one of the five to able to injure two Triple Zero detectives, and had been able to sneak up on highly perceptive detectives three times, it shows she is highly competent in her fighting and stealth prowess. Even after being defeated by Johnny, and her implied assault by TAC50, she has shown a relentless determination to complete her objective.

History: Little is known about Throwing Knives, but what can be known was that she was one of five Victims that took up a Duel Noir against Johnny (who theorizes all five might have been those who had known the targets he had assassinated in the past). Licorne, and eventually Yui, notes that her opting to use throwing knives against Johnny and her camouflage tactics, show an understanding of her opponent (a sniper), with both believing it is possible she may have been either a murder expert or someone who merely trained for a long while for when she got the chance to go against her target. Throwing Knives was lying in wait at the park, approaching only when Johnny and Licorne were force out of their car by her other compatriots gunfire. Licorne spots Throwing Knives before Johnny does and warns him so he can watch out. However, despite Johnny initially shooting one of her knives out of the air, Johnny gets stabbed in his right arm by the other and is forced to rush into the house of mirrors. Throwing Knives would pursue him in her attempt to finish him off. She would be joined by Joshua Lindbergh, but both would be defeated by Johnny.

When Licorne pursues he finds what seems to be Throwing Knives dead and apparently Johnny as well. However, he doesn't believe Johnny to be dead since the corpse's face had been wrecked by gunfire, instead thinking he's disguised as Throwing Knives. He is shocked to find its a woman underneath, rather than Johnny. As Licorne planned to continue his investigation elsewhere, he was attacked by Throwing Knives (who was merely pretending to be dead). Licorne tries to fight her off, and even succeeds in wrapping one of her hands in wire, but Throwing Knives does succeed in cutting him. Thus, Licorne is forced to go on the retreat out of the mirror maze.

Throwing Knives would later be found in the underground passage's electrical room, her suit in rags, its chest open and her body bloodied, with Knives herself seemingly dead. Given that it was connected to TAC50's room, when Yui asked him what he did to her, he merely laughed and said to take a guess, heavily implying that he assaulted her. However, Throwing Knives wasn't dead and would appear to ambush Yui, Kyoko Kirigiri and Licorne as they were outside tending to the injured latter. But before she can land an attack, she would shot in the head from afar by Johnny, who aligned the shot to also shoot Kyoko's ribbon, thus winning the challenge that he had set-up against Yui and Kyoko.

Yoshizono Ōe[]

Gender: Male Male
Yoshizono Ōe (大江 由園) was the name used by Tadashi Asakura when writing the request letters to lure the five detectives he needed for his Duel Noir at the Siruis Observatory and calling to organize the affairs of it. As noted by Kyoko, if one were to read the writing of such a name a certain way, it spells out Yueen or, to be exact, U.N Ooe. This is a references to U.N Owen, a play on the words 'unknown', an alias used in the novel And Then There Were None about ten people being lured to a deserted island after getting letter under such a name. The name is brought up during the Katashiro Island Duel Noir which was influenced by the aforementioned novel.

Yui's Schoolmates[]

Gender: Female Female / Status: Alive

Yui's Schoolmates are all minor characters first mentioned in Danganronpa Kirigiri Volume 1. As it is a women's high school, they are all female.

One is a friendly girl from a dormroom near hers that greets Yui and teases her about her receiving love letters.

One is a small squirrel-like girl from the schools crafts club. She is one of the two girls to have sent Yui love letters, which Yui turned down. She is occasionally seen by Yui stalking her around the school. After the first Duel Noir Yui was involved with, she came to express her concerns for Yui.

Another is a girl who sent a very poetic love letter to Yui anonymously. Yui turned down the invitation and didn't bother using her detective skill to look into it.

There are also other various classmates and dormmates who expressed concern for Yui after the events of the first Duel Noir, and when Kyoko tried to break into her room.
